Antivirus Firewall Software

i want free virus protection software. I tried AVG 8 free edition but it said it doesn’t support with my window. My window is window xp.

Whats is the best Free Virus protection software ? and whats the best you can buy with your money?

We have Avast 4.7 but it viris still come up and it says it cant move them to the chest or even delete them.

I have Sony Ericsson w580i mobile. It ocassionally connects to the GPRS and transfers some data. Looks as if my mobile is infected with a virus.
